From your first email to approved packaging proofs runs about four weeks, and most of that time is you testing film rather than us making anything. Private label PPF is not a complicated program. It is a factory putting your name on film you have already checked, at a volume small enough that you can find out whether your market wants it before you commit a container.

Three kinds of buyers do this well. Distributors already moving volume under someone else's brand, who would rather have the brand margin than the reseller margin. Multi-location installation chains whose customers trust the shop name more than they trust any film name. And regional importers who can see the gap between the franchise brands and the cheap stuff. If you are none of those three, straight wholesale is probably the better deal for you, and we will tell you so.

It starts with a quotation. You tell us your market, your positioning, and roughly what volume you expect, and we come back within 12 hours with factory-direct pricing. The real decision at this stage is which film your brand sits on. Our transparent TPU PPF runs in four series by base resin: W Series on Wanhua TPU with a 5 year warranty, C Series on Covestro at 7 years, E Series on BASF at 8, and L Series on Lubrizol at 10. Both the 7.5 mil (190 micron) and the 8.5 mil systems are available across the range. That choice sets your price point and your warranty story at the same time, so it is worth arguing about before anything else gets decided.

Then you test samples, which are free. Stretch the film over a mirror cap and watch how it comes back. Scratch it, hit it with a heat gun, and time the heal. Lay a piece on a black panel in daylight and look for haze. Pull a corner and see how the adhesive behaves when it is cold. Run our film against whatever you sell now, in your own bay, with your own installer. If ours does not win in your hands, the program stops there, and that is exactly how it should work.

Packaging runs in parallel, weeks two to four. Your box design, your logo and colors, your core labels, your warranty document. If your market needs a particular gloss level, a different topcoat feel, or a specific liner, that conversation belongs here too, because formula work cannot be bolted on once a run has started. Putting your brand on our standard film is OEM. Developing a spec to your own requirements is ODM, and we do that for qualified programs. Either way you send brand assets, we send proofs back, and nothing gets printed until you sign off.

Production starts at 20 rolls. That number is deliberate. Twenty rolls is enough to put your brand in front of real customers, and small enough that a wrong guess costs you a bad month instead of a bad year. The run happens at our own plant in Shanghai, Shanghai Chihuan Advanced Material Technology Co., Ltd., 20,000 sqm, ISO 9001:2015 certified and REACH compliant, with batch QC on every run. Roll 200 behaves like roll 1. That consistency is what keeps your installers' rework rate down and your warranty math honest, because every reprint of a bad batch comes out of your margin, not ours.

Before anything ships you get production photos and batch documentation. Quotes are EXW by default, with FOB, CIF, and DDP available on request, and we will walk the landed cost for your port with you: duty, freight, transit time. The price you plan around should be the price at your door, not the price at our gate. We ship to more than 60 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, and North American buyers can pull stock from our Los Angeles warehouse while a container is still on the water.

Keep your first-batch sample. It becomes the QC reference every reorder gets checked against, and it is the only thing that settles an argument two years later. Pricing improves as your volume climbs, and product photography, installation documentation, and spec sheets come across into your branding as the program grows. Send us your market, your expected volume, and what film you run now at contact@highcool.com, and you will have a quotation and a sample plan within 12 hours. The right way to judge a PPF OEM partner is to make them prove every line of this with samples and paperwork, so test us.

FAQ

Can I really start a private label PPF program at 20 rolls?
Yes. Twenty rolls is the actual minimum order quantity, not a headline number with conditions attached. Most partners run a 20 to 50 roll batch to prove the brand works in their market before they scale to container volume.

Who honors the warranty on private label PPF?
Your brand fronts the warranty to your customers, and our factory backs you on film defects: yellowing, staining, and degradation, per the series warranty on the film you chose, from 5 years on W Series to 10 on L Series. Installation faults are excluded, which keeps claims that belong to an installer from landing on your brand.

How is private label different from buying branded film wholesale?
Wholesale margin is capped by whoever owns the brand, because they set your buy price and can sell around you at any time. Private label moves that margin to you, and nobody can undercut you on a brand only you own. The trade is that you carry the marketing and the customer relationship yourself.
