A first PPF wholesale order starts smaller than most buyers expect: a sample kit, then one to five rolls, then a standing monthly number once the film has proven itself on real cars. Private label is the exception. The moment your logo goes on the box, minimums jump to fifty rolls or more, because the factory has to change its line over for you.
Stage one costs nothing but attention. A sample kit is a few square feet of film, and most serious factories, ours included, send one free. Do not just look at it. Stretch a strip over a black panel, check clarity against the paint, scratch the topcoat and watch it heal with a heat gun, then leave an edge taped down for 48 hours and look for lift. Twenty minutes of bench work tells you more than any brochure.
The trial order is stage two. One to five rolls is normal, and no factory worth dealing with punishes you for starting there. Note the date codes when the rolls arrive. Run the film across different installers and different panels, and log redo rates the same way you would for any brand on your shelf. If a supplier pushes you to skip this stage and commit big, that urgency is information.
Pricing gets real at stage three. Most factories price on volume tiers, and ours are public: dealer levels start at Silver ($500), move to Gold ($2,000), then Platinum ($10,000), with pricing that improves as you climb. Tiers beat haggling because everyone at the same volume pays the same number, and you know exactly what unlocks the next price.
Lead time decides how much cash sits in your shelf. Film crossing the ocean takes four to six weeks port to port before customs adds its share, which forces bigger, riskier orders. Our film sits in stock in the USA and ships from US warehouses, so a shop can reorder in small bites instead of betting a quarter's cash on one container.
One thing we will not print here is a universal MOQ or a price list, because both depend on your country, your product mix, and the volume you can actually move. Tell us those three things and we quote you straight, factory-direct, within 12 hours. While you wait for samples, our batch consistency checklist and our guide to reading a QUV report cover what to verify before stage three.

FAQ
What is a typical MOQ for wholesale PPF?
For branded film, many factories accept trial orders of one to five rolls before moving buyers onto volume tiers. Private label and OEM programs are different, with minimums of fifty rolls or more per SKU, because custom packaging and line changeover only pay off at volume.
Do PPF factories give free samples?
Reputable manufacturers do, and HIGHCOOL sends free sample kits for both PPF and window tint. A sample is only useful if you test it: check stretch, clarity, self-healing and edge adhesion on a real panel rather than judging the film in its packet.
How long does a first PPF wholesale order take to arrive?
Ocean freight from Asia runs four to six weeks plus customs clearance, which is why first-time importers often over-order. Buying from US warehouse stock cuts delivery to days, so smaller trial orders become practical and less cash sits idle on the shelf.
