Most PPF shops buy one width and use it for everything: hoods, fenders, bumpers, mirrors, rockers. Our rolls run 60 in by 49 ft (1.52 x 15 m), good for about 245 sq ft per roll. That is wide enough to lay a hood without a seam down the middle, and long enough that a working install day does not run out mid-panel.

Seams are where installs fail first. A narrower roll forces you to piece together wider panels, and every seam is a place water gets in, dirt collects, and a customer eventually asks why there is a visible line on their hood. Buy the width that matches your actual panel sizes and you cut seams out of the job before you even open the roll.

Length matters for planning, not for the cut itself. A 49 ft roll gives you real running room across a full vehicle wrap or several single-panel jobs before you unbox the next one. Track how many panels you get per roll on your own jobs for a few weeks. That number is more useful than anything we could print here.
